John 19:16-18
Finally
Pilate handed him over to them to be crucified. So the soldiers took
charge of Jesus. Carrying his own cross, he went out to the place
of the Skull (which in Aramaic is called Golgotha). Here they crucified
him, and with him two others—one on each side and Jesus in the
middle.
Matthew 27:28-29
They
stripped him and put a scarlet robe on him, and then twisted together
a crown of thorns and set it on his head. They put a staff in his
right hand and knelt in front of him and mocked him. “Hail,
king of the Jews!” they said.
John 19:32-34
The soldiers
therefore came and broke the legs of the first man who had been crucified
with Jesus, and then those of the other. But when they came to Jesus
and found that he was already dead, they did not break his legs. Instead,
one of the soldiers pierced Jesus’ side with a spear, bringing
a sudden flow of blood and water.
Acts 2:223
This
man was handed over to you by God’s set purpose and foreknowledge;
and you, with the help of wicked men, put him to death by nailing
him to the cross.
